When an engine issue should not wait
Engine problems should be checked quickly when the car loses power, runs roughly, overheats, smokes, leaks oil or shows a warning light. Driving longer can make the original fault harder to separate from secondary damage.
For the first request, write when the symptom appears: cold start, warm engine, acceleration, idle or longer motorway driving. Photos of warning lights, fluid leaks or messages on the dashboard are useful. Engine work needed should be agreed only after inspection and diagnostics, not guessed from one symptom.
