Identify the correct product variant first
Record the brand, full model name, size and ratings from each offer. Save a link to the actual product listing rather than the brand homepage. Similar names are not enough to establish that two offers concern the same variant for the same vehicle.
If the permitted specification is uncertain, start with your vehicle details. Distinguish buying a new set from booking fitting for tyres you already own. That allows the workshop to answer a defined request rather than interpreting a general wish for better tyres.
Efficiency and wet-road performance
The current EU label grades rolling resistance and wet grip from A to E: A is the more favourable result and E the less favourable within that assessment. Rolling resistance concerns energy efficiency; wet grip concerns performance in the standardised wet assessment. Read the two grades separately.
If one candidate has a better efficiency grade and another a better wet-grip grade, those two letters do not create an automatic overall winner. Discuss your priorities and usual routes. The label does not describe lifespan, complete dry-road behaviour or your car’s individual fuel saving and stopping distance.
External noise is different from cabin noise
The noise information includes a decibel value and an A-to-C class, with A the more favourable external-noise class. It concerns rolling noise outside the car, rather than predicting sound in its cabin. Compare exact variants and do not treat noise as an overall comfort rating.
If the vehicle has developed a new hum or vibration, describe that symptom separately first. Shopping by the label should not replace investigating a problem. For a planned tyre purchase, ask for identifiable options in the agreed specification and explain your priorities.
The QR code and winter symbols
The QR code leads to the model in the European EPREL database. Check that it matches your selected variant. The three-peak mountain and snowflake symbol, 3PMSF, indicates the relevant assessment for severe snow conditions has been met. A separate ice-grip symbol concerns particular ice conditions; it is not interchangeable with the snowflake.
For an enquiry, email the product link or readable information supplied by the seller. Ask for clarification before ordering if the listing and supporting details disagree. A label photograph helps identify a product, but does not approve its use on any vehicle.
Turn the comparison into a practical enquiry
Shortlist a few exact options and state whether you need summer, winter or all-season tyres. Say whether the request is for a complete set or follows damage to one tyre. Deciding how many tyres to replace needs information about the existing set as well.
Before accepting an offer, confirm which products and workshop operations it includes. New-tyre pricing depends on the size and agreed product. Treat the label as one part of your decision; it does not establish a single best purchase for every driver and every car.
Details for your enquiry
- Vehicle and requested dimensions, including ratings.
- Exact links to the shortlisted variants.
- Seasonal requirements and usual journeys.
- Whether supply, fitting or both are required.
Use existing observations. Email relevant photographs or reports; the form does not accept attachments. Do not collect records while driving.
Frequently asked questions
Does a better wet-grip class guarantee safety everywhere?
No. It is a comparison indicator under the assessment conditions, rather than a promise for every road and journey.
Does the noise figure predict cabin noise?
No. The label states external rolling noise.
Is the tyre brand enough for a comparison?
For an exact offer, also provide the model, dimensions, ratings and link to the selected variant.
Can the label decide how many tyres need replacing?
That is a separate assessment of the vehicle and existing set. The label does not contain those details.
Agree the next step
Send Autoservis 1 the vehicle details and your request to agree the available scope, price and appointment. Find us at Unhošťská 92, Červený Újezd, near Unhošť, Hostivice, Kladno and Prague-West. An enquiry does not confirm a safe journey. The phone operates Mon–Fri 8:30–17:00; arrange urgent roadside help separately.
Ask about suitable tyresSources and vehicle instructions
Manufacturer references explain general principles; they do not diagnose your vehicle or confirm that every specialist operation is available here. Follow the actual vehicle and component instructions.
